In early May, the Panorama 360 observation deck became the venue for the photo exhibition "Women at War. 1941-1945". The military-historical society that organized the event placed more than a dozen impressive tablets at the 327 m level.
The project is being implemented in honor of the annual celebration of the victory over Nazism. The site where the photo exhibition is taking place is widely known in the capital. The event took place on sunny May days, which evoke associations with an unforgettable historical past for many generations.

The tablets feature photographs of women who became famous in the war, telling fascinating stories about their heroism and services to the Motherland. The pictures capture:
-
Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya;
-
Vera Voloshina;
-
Lydia Litvyak and other heroines.
The photo exhibition provides an opportunity to learn more about the outstanding participants of the memorable events of the war years, their courage and selflessness. Visitors will receive a lot of new information about women who took part in direct combat clashes or were in the rear. By joint efforts, they managed to bring the Great Victory closer.
The photographs capture the brave, noble faces of people who have become the real pride of their country. The bold smile and confident look of each of the heroines clearly demonstrate their enormous willpower, readiness for the most difficult tests, and the performance of dangerous tasks. Looking at them, you can fully experience the indescribable atmosphere of the Great Patriotic War!
In previous years, the photo exhibition was held on Gogolevsky and Tsvetnoy Boulevards. After the event was highly appreciated by numerous residents and guests of Moscow, its organizers considered it appropriate to provide an additional location.
From May 6 to 9, visitors to the exhibition will also be able to see unique finds from places where major battles took place in the past. The items on offer were provided by the "Search for Rare Items of Russia" that discovered them. Among the interesting items are personal belongings of Red Army soldiers, Soviet-style weapons, etc.
An exhibition dedicated to women who participated in the war is also planned to be held at the location of the Sochi Marine Station. An open gallery has been chosen to accommodate the tablets. The photo exhibition will be open to visitors from May 8 and will last until the end of June. Its opening is scheduled for 11:00.
