On October 29, the capital's Novotel Moscow City hotel invites chess enthusiasts and professionals to the grand Moscow City Open tournament. Representatives of all generations and skill levels can take part in the event. The tournament schedule includes 7 rounds, divided into 6 age categories, with a regulation of 10 minutes per game and an additional 5 seconds per move.
Not only the personal achievements of the players will be noted: special attention is paid to the top four chess players from specialized and regular schools. A special nomination is also provided for families, where combinations of two members of the same family, playing in different groups, can become leaders.
The conference halls "Moscow" and "London" will be the arena of this exciting event. Moscow City Open is one of the key and most exciting events in the calendar of the Pedagogical Chess Union, delighting participants and spectators since 2015.
