Osteria Mario
Osteria Mario, on the fifth floor of Afimall, transports guests from downtown Moscow to the cozy streets of Italy. The scent of basil, Parmesan, and fresh pizza fills the air, Neapolitan music plays, and the waiters smile as if you're a guest. The interior is Mediterranean in style: light walls, wooden countertops, clay jugs and bottles of olive oil on the shelves, plenty of live plants, and wide palm trees. A shuttered window adorned with flowers offers a peek into the kitchen and a glimpse of the preparation of your order. Families can enjoy comfortable sofas and a children's play area with an entertainer, making this a popular choice with children.
The menu is built around classics and variety: Roman pizza on a thin, crispy crust, spicy cacuccio soup with seafood, mussels in white wine, pasta, ravioli, and risotto generously sprinkled with Parmesan. Antipasti dishes include vitello tonnato, bruschetta with tuna mousse, marinated artichokes, Parma ham, and eggplant Parmigiano. Hot dishes include ossobuco with Milanese risotto, bistecca di pesce, and grilled meat; Caprese and Panzanella salads refresh the meal. For dessert, light tiramisu, semifreddo, and other desserts are offered. In the morning, breakfasts are prepared with omelets, thin crepes, and ricotta gnocchi; business lunches are available during the day, and a special menu is created for children. The bar menu includes wines from Italy and other countries, cocktails and strong ristretto.
