Sempre on Bolshaya Dmitrovka is a restaurant in central Moscow that redefines the urban dining experience with a distinctive visual concept. The project is positioned as a “green restaurant” and essentially functions as a garden restaurant, where the cuisine and interior were conceived from the outset as a single entity. Here, it is not only the cuisine that matters, but also the environment: the space, the light, the textures, and the sense of being removed from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The downtown location makes it convenient to visit at any time of day. Sempre accommodates late breakfasts, daytime meetings, and evening visits, maintaining a consistent style and atmosphere. The space is organized in such a way that both short visits and longer stays feel equally natural. As a result, the restaurant serves as a versatile urban destination with a clear concept and consistent style.

Cuisine and Gastronomic Philosophy

Sempre’s cuisine is built on a signature European foundation with distinct Mediterranean accents. Brand chef Anatoly Levizov crafts the menu using accessible flavors and “honest” recipes, avoiding overcomplication and complex constructions. The foundation lies in working with ingredients, texture, and temperature, as well as carefully adapting traditional dishes to a modern format.

The menu covers a variety of dining scenarios: from breakfast to a full-course dinner. The oven plays a key role, revealing part of the gastronomic concept, as do the pasta and comfort food sections characteristic of Southern European cuisine. At the same time, the restaurant does not limit itself to a single national cuisine, maintaining flexibility and diversity.

The design was developed in collaboration with Guste Sempre and combines architectural expressiveness with natural elements. The decor features wood, textiles, handcrafted tableware, and soft lighting, creating a calm and visually rich environment. The absence of rigid zoning enhances the sense of a unified space.

The interior serves a functional rather than a decorative role—it influences the perception of the kitchen, the rhythm of the experience, and overall comfort. As a result, Sempre is perceived not as a standalone restaurant with beautiful decor, but as a complete concept where atmosphere and gastronomy work in harmony.
