How to get to Moscow City

The Moscow International Business Center, or, as it is more often called, Moscow-City, is a huge complex of skyscrapers with original architecture, located in close proximity to the historical heart of the capital on Presnenskaya Embankment. A dozen multifunctional complexes have already been built on the territory of the MIBC, each of which has from 27 to 95 floors in the towers, as well as the huge, even by Moscow standards, shopping center "Afimall", which attracts tens of thousands of city residents and guests of the capital to its shopping arcades every day.

How to get there?

Today, you can get to Moscow-City in different ways and from almost any point in Moscow, even by train from nearby settlements. But to make it as time-consuming and effort-free as possible, you should plan your route in advance.

We go by metro

One of the most convenient and fastest ways to get to the MIBC territory is the metro. Using it, the problem of traffic jams, so typical for Moscow at any time of the day, is immediately solved, and the need for a long search for a place to park a car is eliminated, because, despite all the development of the business center, the presence of underground and above-ground, paid and free parking, the problem of parking cars in it is still very relevant. Therefore, this type of transport is chosen by thousands of people working in the Moscow-City towers, and guests of the capital who are poorly oriented in the city.

Moscow City Metro Stations

The Moscow City area includes the Vystavochnaya, Delovoy Tsentr, and Mezhdunarodnaya metro stations, which belong to different lines but are located a short distance from each other. Therefore, you can get here by metro without transfers from almost any point in the city. This also allows you to get off the subway in the part of the business center you need to get to if you don't have time to walk and see the sights of the area.

Thus, the stations "Vystavochnaya" and "Mezhdunarodnaya", from which you can get to any multifunctional complex of Moscow-City in a matter of minutes, belong to the blue line, which branches off from the Filevskaya line at the station "Kyiv". You can get to it by going from the stations "Park Pobedy", "Arbatskaya", "Fili", "Smolenskaya" or any ring station.

To get to Afimall, Expocentre and the above-mentioned towers, you should go to the Vystavochnaya metro station. It is more convenient to immediately get into the 1st train car or then walk along the platform in this direction.

If you exit the subway from the opposite end, i.e. from the last car, you can quickly get to the Bagration Bridge. After all, this exit is located directly opposite the 2000 Tower.

You can also get to the desired location by traveling from the Park Pobedy station to the Delovoy Tsentr, which has a direct connection with the Vystavochnaya station.

If the purpose of the trip is these objects, it is worth going to the Mezhdunarodnaya metro station. It is a spacious lobby with 3 exits, through which you can get directly to the indicated towers. The main thing here is to follow the signs.

If you want to walk a little to Moscow City, you can walk from the Kutuzovskaya, Kievskaya, 1905 Goda metro stations, as tour guides often do when showing tourists Moscow.

Going to Moscow-City by car and ground public transport

When choosing a trip to Moscow-City by car, you need to focus on:

  • Third Transport Ring;

  • Kutuzovsky Prospekt;

  • Presnenskaya Embankment;

  • Zvenigorodskoye Shosse;

  • Krasnogvardeysky Proezd.

These major highways encircle the business center of the capital and have convenient exits into it. But when choosing a car trip, you need to think about parking in advance, because in Moscow-City there are not always empty spaces even in paid parking lots.

The problem of parking your personal car will not arise if you get to the business center on bus 243. But the possibility of getting stuck in a traffic jam is not excluded.

Got a minute? It is worth taking a walk around Moscow City

Anyone who finds themselves in the business district cannot help but admire the bright architecture of skyscrapers reaching into the clouds. It really deserves attention, even if this type of real estate is not your preferred format. But the appearance of buildings with a dizzying height is not the only attraction of the area.

Each multifunctional complex is a separate microcosm, which in terms of the number of inhabitants and the development of infrastructure can be compared with fairly large cities. Just walking through the floors and getting to know the skyscrapers up close, you can be imbued with a new philosophy and appreciate the ideas embedded in them and feel like you are in the future.

Moscow City

In addition to a large number of offices of various domestic and foreign companies, the Moscow City towers are home to the most respectable fitness centers, restaurants, themed cafes and coffee shops. The business center has its own ultra-modern cinema, as well as a Wedding Palace, where a huge number of couples strive to enter into a union. Here you can admire the Moscow panorama from the highest observation decks located on the 62nd floor of the Federation Tower and the 57th floor of the Empire Tower, or simply stroll along the Presnenskaya Embankment, feeling the grandiose bulk of vertical cities behind you.
