Between January and September 2023, deals totaling 135,000 square meters of office space were concluded in the Moscow City business district. This is more than double the figures for the same period in 2022, according to experts from the consulting firm Commonwealth Partnership (CMWP).
The bulk of the sales volume was accounted for by iCity high-rise buildings. Moscow City Hall acquired 47,000 square meters, while another user company purchased approximately 17,000 square meters. Another significant transaction was Rosselkhozbank's acquisition of 13,400 square meters in the OKO II business center. Interestingly, the three largest transactions this year involved government agencies or companies with state participation, the CMWP report emphasizes.
The report also highlights that, after a decline in 2022, the Moscow City real estate market is once again showing positive dynamics.
