The Deposit Insurance Agency, a major state-owned company that had auctioned off the assets of JSC RMB Bank as its bankruptcy trustee, sold a lot in the Imperia business center for 623.5 million rubles. This is a 1,200-square-meter office with its own lobby and designer solutions.
The auction, initiated by the Deposit Insurance Agency, was held at the Russian Auction House. Once the transaction is documented and the funds are transferred to the state-owned company's account, it will contribute them to the debtor's bankruptcy estate.
As a reminder, the Imperia business center is located at 6 Presnenskaya Embankment, Building 2, in the heart of Moscow City. It is a 60-story skyscraper constructed using monolithic technology. Most of its premises are classified as non-residential, with a total floor area of nearly 121,500 square meters. All offices are Class A and occupy floors 4–41 of the building. The upper levels of the skyscraper are reserved for apartments.
The complex's infrastructure is concentrated on the basement level, which has been converted into a large shopping arcade—Empire Blackyard. It connects Empire with the neighboring Capital City , the Afimall shopping center , and metro stations. Parking is also located on the skyscraper's basement level.
