Construction of the One Tower skyscraper is proceeding according to plan. On his Instagram page, the deputy mayor of Moscow announced that construction is expected to be fully completed in a few years. The tower will ultimately include residential and office space, as well as a retail area. The underground floors will house a multi-level parking garage.
According to the design, One Tower will reach a height of 405 meters, of which 80 meters will be the stylobate. The grandiose tower, with a trapezoidal shape and gradient glass facades, will have 101 floors above ground and three underground floors. This makes it 33 meters taller than the current record-holder, the Federation Tower.
One Tower is rising steadily on 1st Krasnogvardeisky Proezd, close to the Mercury Multifunctional Complex and the Grand Tower, also under construction. Its 100th floor will feature an observation deck. The building's stylobate will house a business center, retail space, and numerous cafes and restaurants. A long-awaited children's leisure center will also be located there. The rest of the tower will be entirely dedicated to comfortable apartments.
Moscow City has become Russia's most prominent project in just a few decades. The business district has emerged on Presnenskaya Embankment, where a stone quarry once stood. Today, it is the capital's largest business district, harmoniously combining business, housing, and leisure.
