In response to numerous requests from city residents, the Moscow Department of Transport announced name changes for two important transportation hubs. The previous station names—Testovskaya, Delovoy Tsentr MCC, Mezhdunarodnaya, and Vystavochnaya—have been replaced by new ones: Moscow-City and Delovoy Tsentr. This decision is aimed at simplifying navigation within the capital for all categories of passengers.
As Maxim Liksutov, head of the city's Department of Transportation, noted, the name updates will make public transportation easier for Moscow residents and visitors, as "Moscow City" and "Business Center" have long been common names. The main goal of these changes is to improve route clarity, accessibility, and ease of use of public transportation.
Following the renaming, the new Moscow-City transfer complex became visible on city maps. It connects the D4 station (formerly Testovskaya), the Moscow Central Circle (formerly Delovoy Tsentr MCC), and a metro station on the Filevskaya Line (formerly Mezhdunarodnaya). Delovoy Tsentr station, in turn, now connects three metro lines: the Big Circle, Solntsevskaya, and Filevskaya, replacing the name Vystavochnaya.
In light of these innovations, the process of updating signs and information boards in public transport has begun to provide passengers with more comfortable and understandable navigation around the city.
