Moscow City has welcomed the launch of a new, large coworking space from Capital Group, a leading Moscow real estate developer. Capital Group owns the Business Club chain, which is opening a 4,500-square-meter coworking space in the second phase of the OKO multifunctional complex . It is the largest in the chain, capable of accommodating 800 workstations.
Business Club was founded by Herman Te, who noted that the new workspace is primarily focused on working with corporate clients. He also noted that the company plans to actively develop its coworking business and secure 30,000 square meters for it.
Considering that Business Club is part of Capital Group, Mr. Te's ambitious plans are unlikely to be thwarted. After all, the developer's portfolio comprises approximately 8.2 million square meters, including completed projects, projects under construction, and those still in the design stage.
Capital Group most prominently demonstrated its capabilities with the construction of the Oko and Gorod Stolits multifunctional complexes, both located in Moscow City. The developer's other signature projects include the Capital Towers, Litsa, Pozitiv, Tricolor, and, of course, NEBO residential complexes. NEBO and Capital Towers were among the top five best-selling properties of 2019.
Business Club is a network of coworking spaces and flexible workspaces, already present in the Capital City and Vostok (Federation Tower) towers, and now in the OKO II multifunctional complex. Incidentally, Yandex employees will be located in the remaining available space in the latter.
According to the latest data, flexible spaces will account for 1.1% of all office space available in 2019, up 0.4% from 2018. Coworking spaces are increasingly attracting attention and offer an opportunity to retain employees. Moscow coworking spaces have grown by 50% year-on-year. The most popular locations for opening them are Moscow City and the Leningradskoe Shosse area.
