A new, landscaped park with a variety of active recreation areas and flower beds will soon open near the Moscow City business center.

As Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced in his blog, a promenade will be created along the Taras Shevchenko Embankment between the Kutuzovsky and City-Bagration piers. The piers, approximately 500 meters apart, are located near Moscow-City and the Third Ring Road (TTR), making them convenient transfer points for tourists who combine walking and river travel.

"We've decided to transform this public space into a comfortable and modern recreation area with access to the river," noted Sergei Sobyanin.
The park will feature environmentally friendly paths, landscaped lawns and flower beds, modern streetlights, and comfortable benches. Additionally, a new sports ground with exercise equipment and play areas will be built. Plans also include renovating the public garden located between Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Taras Shevchenko Embankment, next to the Bagration Bridge.

Additionally, the park will feature picnic areas, playgrounds, and quiet spots by the water. Specialists will also plant new trees and shrubs, giving the park a well-maintained and green appearance.

Completion of all work is scheduled for this fall, allowing Moscow residents and visitors to enjoy this new green space in the near future. The park will be a great place to spend time outdoors, exercise, and simply enjoy pleasant strolls.
