The development of Moscow's city business district has entered a new phase: the iCity 2 high-rise office complex has successfully received state approval. The project's developer is MR Group, renowned for its numerous large-scale projects in the capital. According to the approved design documents, a modern high-rise office building will be constructed on the Sherepishinsky Tupik plot. The complex will rise 299 meters and comprise 64 floors. With a total floor area of approximately 163,810 square meters, it will be one of the largest office projects under development in the Moscow region. The project originally envisioned a hotel and business center with a total floor area of 125,278 square meters, but the plans were later revised. The decision to eliminate the hotel component allowed the center to focus solely on business functions and significantly increased the office space to 163,850 square meters, ensuring maximum efficiency within the site. Preliminary renderings of the future complex were released to the public in November 2024. MR Group expects to release official renderings confirming or revising the tower's exterior in the coming months.
The iCity 2 project will be a logical continuation of the iCity 1 complex and will solidify the Shelepikha district's position as the capital's new business hub. Experts expect the building to be equipped with the latest technology and target high-end tenants, including international companies and leading Russian corporations.
