Construction of a data center certified by the world-renowned Uptime Institute is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023. The new data center, designed to accommodate 1,100 server racks, will be located in a modern IT technology park near the Moscow-City International Business Center . FSK Group CEO V. Voronin made the corresponding announcement in December of this year.
The aforementioned FSK executive stated: "The main construction work will begin at the beginning of the second quarter of next year. On average, at least 25% of the existing rack capacity will be deployed during this period." To clarify, the total capacity of the two IT technology park data centers is 5,500 racks, rated at 15 and 45 MW.
It's worth recalling what the Uptime Institute is. It's an international certification organization. Its leading experts developed a reliability standard that is used as a reference when constructing and commissioning innovative data centers.
