Construction of a large concert hall, dubbed Sensorium Hall , continues on the MIBC site. Fun Generation is leading the construction. Its CEO, Vladimir Kedrinsky, shared further plans for the site's development.
The project involves the construction of a grand concert hall with a unique clock-shaped design, a transformable stage, and a beach club. Plans also include the launch of an innovative social VR platform, which has received international acclaim and $70 million in funding.
The investor and driving force behind the construction of the concert complex in Moscow City is renowned billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, renowned for his successful projects. He conceived the idea of building something similar about 10 years ago, and today it is being successfully realized.
The Sensorium Hall will feature the "Tropics in the Metropolis" concept. It envisions creating a perpetual summer zone in the heart of the capital's business district. It will be a unique beach club, centered on a swimming pool surrounded by tropical trees. During the warmer months, the hall's transparent dome will be open, and in the evenings, it will host open-air parties sponsored by Ushuaia Club from Ibiza.
The social VR platform project aims to instantly transport visitors to a nightclub with a live DJ anywhere in the world, simply by putting on virtual reality goggles. It will feature its own library of events, allowing visitors to experience their favorite past moment at any time.
Completion of Sensorium Hall is scheduled for 2021. However, since the concert hall's original completion date was 2016, it is possible that the deadline will be pushed back again.
