Representatives of all Russian government agencies are planned to be relocated to the Moscow-City business center by 2023. More than 80,000 officials are expected to move into one of the famous complex's skyscrapers.
According to preliminary data, all 40 Russian government agencies and ministries will move into the IQ Quarter towers by the end of this year. Representatives of the Moscow City Hall have been granted special privileges—they will be provided with apartments this spring. In total, the new skyscraper will house nearly 84,000 employees from Rosstandart, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Property Management Agency, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and other agencies.
The tower, designated for government employees, has 42 floors, with 32 high-speed elevators providing transportation between them. By 2023, the complex will officially begin issuing electronic passports and processing pension payments.
It should be recalled that the decree on the relocation of Russian ministries to Moscow City was signed by Dmitry Medvedev on March 20, 2019.
