Recently, a 500-square-meter penthouse in the Carre Blanc clubhouse, which had displaced the luxurious apartments in the Federation Tower, was removed from the market. It was valued at 2.8 billion rubles, making it the most expensive apartment in Moscow. Although the developer has not commented on whether it was reserved or purchased, the fact remains: the three-level penthouse in the Federation Tower, measuring almost 2,200 square meters and priced at 2.6 billion rubles, once again tops the list of the most expensive apartments in the capital.

Despite the significantly smaller lot size, the Carre Blanc clubhouse's high price is explained by its proximity to the Kremlin. Located at 43 Presnenskaya Embankment, the complex is no more than 400 meters from the Borovitskaya Tower. Therefore, the price per square meter is approximately 2.1 million rubles. A penthouse in Carre Blanc went on public sale in early spring 2021, and its price of 2.8 billion rubles made it a record-breaker in the Moscow residential real estate market. However, as of today, the lot has been removed from the market, leaving only two properties with 10-digit prices: a penthouse in the Federation Tower and an apartment in Fairmont Vesper Residences Moscow.

The Federation Tower penthouse is a three-level apartment with over 2,180 square meters of floor space. It occupies floors 95-97, equivalent to 360-374 square meters, and is equipped with two private elevators. This makes this lot the highest residential property in Europe. An additional highlight of the penthouse is its glass dome, which reaches 12 meters at its highest point. The apartment is sold unfinished, allowing you to customize it to your liking.
Second place in the ranking, trailing the Federation Tower lot by less than 0.3 billion rubles, went to a 1,051-meter lot in Fairmont Vesper Residences Moscow. This complex is located on 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street, directly above the Mayakovskaya metro station lobby. This apartment is recognized as the most spacious of all the lots for sale in buildings located so close to the city center. It is currently valued at over 2.3 billion rubles. Two years ago, it already held the title of Moscow's residential real estate market record. However, at that time, it was valued at just over 1 billion rubles.
Interestingly, the most expensive properties in Moscow are lots legally designated as apartments. Meanwhile, the most expensive apartment is a 501-square-meter unit in the Knightsbridge Private Park residential complex, located in the southern part of Khamovniki. It's asking 1.026 billion rubles.

These three lots represent the top offers and have no competitors in price. The next most expensive is an apartment in an interesting project consisting of three mansions called "Bolshaya Dmitrovka IX." It measures 303 square meters and is priced just over 955 million rubles.
