Sezar Group has become the leading bidder to complete the Empire II tower in Moscow City. According to Vedomosti, the developer has already signed an agreement to acquire two properties in Moscow's business center, one of which is a site with an unfinished skyscraper. Our portal previously reported that Alisher Usmanov's USM holding company, along with Oleg Malis's Solvers Estate, is preparing to sell the project, and the deal with Sezar Group is already underway.
The "Empire II" skyscraper will be one of the largest in the Moscow-City complex, with a total floor area of 115,800 square meters. The building will house office space, apartments, a hotel, and underground parking, the construction of which has already been completed. Given its scale and significance, this project could be a significant milestone for Sezar Group.
As a reminder, we previously reported on other potential buyers for this project. One of the contenders was the Turkish company Renaissance Development , which was interested in completing the Empire II tower. Furthermore, the Wildberries marketplace, together with the outdoor advertising operator Russ Outdoor, considered purchasing the skyscraper to create the headquarters of the merged RVB company. However, no official statements were made by these companies.
The deal with Sezar Group, if successfully completed, will open a new chapter in the development of Moscow City, strengthening its status as the capital's business hub and providing new opportunities for businesses and investors.
