Work is currently underway on a script for a film dedicated to the construction of the tallest tower in Moscow, the Federation Tower .
NMG Studio General Producer Fyodor Bondarchuk commented on several aspects of the upcoming film project in an interview with Vedomosti newspaper. Collaboration with Sergey Kalvarsky, co-writer and showrunner of the series "Fisher," will reportedly continue.
Bondarchuk mentions two of Kalvarsky's concepts: the first is related to the TV series "Fisher," and the second to a series with the working title "Federation," which chronicles the development of Moscow City and the Federation Tower. According to Bondarchuk, this project experienced rapid growth and became one of the finest structures in Europe.
However, Bondarchuk did not reveal any other details of the project. It's possible that the eccentric former developer Sergei Polonsky, who was responsible for the construction of the Federation Center, will be the central character. If this is confirmed, the filmmakers will have to recreate the famous episode from Sergei Minaev's show 12 years ago, when Polonsky ate his tie after losing a bet. He previously claimed he would do so if the value of Mirax Group apartments didn't increase by 25% within 18 months. However, the entrepreneur was wrong in his six-month forecast.
