In late September, the Moscow State Construction Supervision Authority (Mosgosstroynadzor) announced that it had extended the construction permit for the cinema and concert hall until December 31, 2021. The committee, together with the Center for Expertise, will inspect the construction work to ensure that the completed structures comply with design documentation and technical regulations.
The cinema and concert hall will be a nine-story building with an underground parking garage, covering just over 38,000 square meters. It will be able to accommodate approximately 4,000 people. It is being built on Plot 6 in Moscow City and is designed to host a wide variety of events, including large-scale gala concerts, forums, and more. According to the design, the cinema and concert hall will feature a unique translucent dome. It also features sophisticated engineering solutions that will allow the stage to be quickly transformed to the desired configuration.
Construction continues today at Section 6 of the Moscow International Business Center. So far, the developer has completed the monolithic work, installed the steel structures, and glazed the dome. Facade and roofing work continues on the cinema and concert hall, and elevators are being installed. All of this is being financed by the investor.
