Work has begun on the first phase of a major business project, which will become part of the "Big City" project, which is gaining momentum in Moscow's Presnensky District. Anton Slobodchikov, head of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Authority, announced the start of construction.

Location and project details
The first phase of construction has begun at 2-ya Magistralnaya Street, Building 3, in the capital's Central Administrative District. The project includes the construction of Building A, an 18-story building with a total floor area of 39,000 square meters.

The underground portion of the complex will be used for parking for 169 cars, while the ground floor will be occupied by commercial spaces including cafes, shops, and client offices. The building will comfortably accommodate approximately 2,100 employees.

Architecture and layout of building A
The main entrance to Building A will be designed in a contemporary style: a spacious glass lobby with double-height ceilings will create a feeling of openness and comfort. It will also house the waiting area, reception desk, and access to the retail space. For user convenience, the building will feature eight elevators with a lifting capacity of up to 1,600 kilograms, including one service elevator.

Office space will occupy floors two through seventeen. The top floor, the technical floor, will house utility equipment and other life-support systems. The façade design features transparent double-glazed windows on the lower levels and aluminum cassettes with discreet fastenings on floors above the third.

A small park will be built in the adjacent area, seamlessly connecting to a promenade area designed for recreation, pedestrian traffic, and vehicle access.

Light City's Prospects and Unique Features
Building A will be the first part of the large-scale Light City business complex, which will include three identical 18-story buildings and a striking 37-story tower—the project's architectural focal point. The complex will cover a total area of 175,000 square meters, 115,000 of which will be allocated for office space.

The main tower will feature a distinctive cross-shaped form, gradually widening toward the center of the building and tapering toward the top. This architectural feature will give the complex a distinctive look and become its visual highlight.

Construction supervision
According to Anton Slobodchikov, Mosgosstroynadzor has issued a permit for the construction of Building A and has already developed an inspection plan. The first inspection on site is scheduled for the first quarter of this year.

Against the backdrop of Moscow's active urban development policy initiated by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, this project will be another contribution to the development of the capital's business infrastructure. Light City promises to become not only a place to work but also a comfortable area for relaxation and socializing, meeting modern quality standards.
