As part of an infrastructure development project, construction has begun on a new bridge across the Moskva River, which will effectively serve as the northern bypass of Kutuzovsky Prospekt. It will connect the capital's business center, the Moscow City district, with the opposite bank, relieve congestion on the city's main traffic arteries, and become part of a high-speed highway scheduled to open by the end of 2023.

The total investment, including the construction of access roads and overpasses, will exceed 50 billion rubles. Under the concession agreement, a private investor will assume responsibility for the project.
