Near the Moscow-City business center, it is planned to build a bridge for pedestrians and renovate the Dorogomilovsky crossing.
The territorial project, which includes changing the site of Presnenskaya Embankment and creating a pedestrian bridge across the Moskva River, has received the green light from Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development. “These changes will improve accessibility and movement between the river banks, which is significant because there are many jobs located near the embankment,” Bochkarev noted.
Bochkarev also added that it is planned to introduce additional elements, such as pedestrian crossings, sidewalks, traffic lights, etc.
“The project will include work to renovate the 294-meter-long Dorogomilovsky automobile bridge and construct a new pedestrian bridge 453 meters away,” said Anastasia Pyatova, head of the Moscow City Committee for the Implementation of Investment Projects in Construction and Control over Shared Construction.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expressed his thoughts regarding changes to the zones around the Northern Understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt in the areas adjacent to the Moscow-City International Business Center.
