The construction of a pedestrian bridge and renovation of the Dorogomilovsky crossing are planned near the Moscow-City business center.
A land-use project involving rezoning a section of Presnenskaya Embankment and creating a pedestrian bridge across the Moskva River has received the green light from Andrey Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development. "These changes will improve accessibility and movement between the riverbanks, which is significant given the numerous jobs located near the embankment," Bochkarev noted.
Bochkarev also added that additional elements, such as pedestrian crossings, sidewalks, traffic lights, and more, are planned.
"The project will include renovation work on the 294-meter-long Dorogomilovsky automobile bridge and the construction of a new pedestrian bridge 453 meters away," said Anastasia Pyatova, head of the Moscow City Committee for the Implementation of Investment Projects in Construction and Control over Shared Construction.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expressed his thoughts on changing the zones around the Northern Underpass of Kutuzovsky Prospekt in the areas adjacent to the Moscow-City International Business Center.
