On August 9, 2020, on the roof of the "Empire" building , located 236.42 meters above ground level, Moscow rescuers conducted a tactical firefighting exercise to test a fire suppression system developed using innovative technology. The developers created a method of extinguishing fires using a water-air mixture. This method also boasts an extended spray range of over 100 meters.
The results of the exercise will not only allow rescuers to practice techniques and options for extinguishing a fire at such dizzying heights, but will also help determine whether the new system is worth using in the capital.
