The Moscow Department of Transport published a message on Telegram about significant innovations in the Moscow-City navigation system.
The Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) has become the site of major renovations. In the business center:
-
the design of at least 100 navigation fragments has been changed;
-
over 300 new elements were installed;
-
the territory was divided into many quarters, each of which received a specific color and letter designation;
-
Entry into the towers began to be carried out according to a different principle, based on special symbols and numbering;
-
Transport signs and numbering of zones designated for taxi boarding have appeared.
Deputy Moscow Mayor M. Liksutov, responsible for transportation issues, noted that much has been done to ensure convenient travel within Moscow-City . The official stated, "In the fall of 2021, comfortable pedestrian areas were created within the Moscow International Business Center, and a new traffic flow plan was introduced. This year, we have provided user-friendly navigation designed for at least 100,000 visitors arriving here daily. These activities are designed to develop the Big City area. The project was personally approved by S. Sobyanin."
As M. Liksutov clarifies, the locations of the modified navigation were sidewalks, areas designated for pedestrians, and underground galleries serving to connect the towers.
The construction of a skyscraper on plot 15 of the Moscow-City International Business Center, dubbed Moscow Towers , has already been announced. The 62-story building is a complex with a variety of functions. It stands over 280 meters tall and covers an area of 400,000 square meters. Moscow Towers will include office space, apartments, and multiple retail spaces.
Two towers connected by walkways are also planned here. They will form a sky lobby, housing recreation areas and winter gardens. The building will also feature a modern parking lot with 1,241 spaces.
From here, an unforgettable view of the Russian capital opens up. The enormous structure's silhouette forms the city's symbol—a giant letter M.
