Moscow authorities have decided to seize two plots of land in the "Big City" district for a major infrastructure project. The project includes the construction of a pedestrian overpass connecting the iCity office complex currently under construction with the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) and the Shelepikha metro station.
According to an order from the Moscow Department of City Property, 0.34 hectares of land located at 39A Shmitovsky Proezd are subject to expropriation. These areas were previously used for commercial properties, including auto repair shops.

The project was initiated by Epsilon, the developer of iCity and part of the MR Group development company. Epsilon will also finance the property acquisition.
The owner of the seized plots is the company "Liza-1", which since 2023 has been controlled by Artem Bosov, the son of the late businessman Dmitry Bosov, founder of the investment group "Alltek".
Significance of the project
The construction of a new pedestrian crossing will provide convenient access to transportation hubs for employees and visitors of the iCity office cluster, which is positioned as one of Moscow's flagship business real estate developments. This will help reduce traffic congestion on nearby roads, improve pedestrian safety, and enhance the connection of the "Big City" district to key public transportation stations.
Completion of the crossing is expected to significantly enhance the attractiveness of the business zone, accelerate the development of transport infrastructure, and lead to an increase in real estate prices in the area.
