MFC Tower on the Embankment Block B

Block B is the second largest building in the multifunctional complex "Tower on the Embankment", which has grown over the course of 4 years on the 10th plot of the Moscow International Business Center district. The multifunctional complex has been assigned the address Presnenskaya Embankment, Building 10.

This prestigious complex is now fully occupied. Convenient location, developed infrastructure of the "Tower on the Embankment" itself and "Moscow-City" in general, which is growing more and more every year, make Block B very attractive for tenants, including world-famous solid companies.

History of construction

All three buildings of the Naberezhnaya Tower complex were designed and built by the large Turkish construction company Enka. The projects for the buildings of the first and second stages, i.e. blocks A and B, were approved in 2003. Therefore, the developer began building block B immediately after the completion of construction work and the delivery of the first stage, namely in 2004.

Enka was able to begin construction work earlier than other companies, including Capital Group, because it divided the architectural project into 3 parts and began construction after the first two were agreed upon and approved. While the capital's authorities were considering the feasibility and technical and economic characteristics of the tallest block of the "Tower on the Embankment", the first 2 buildings were already under construction, and the areas in them were actively sold.

Block B of the "Tower on the Embankment" was put into operation in October 2005. And until 2007, this multifunctional complex remained the only one operating on the territory of "Moscow-City". On the one hand, this had a positive effect on the developer's reputation, but on the other hand, it confronted tenants with problems of insufficient infrastructure and parking. Of course, the complex had underground parking, but its capacity was insufficient to cover the needs of all employees of the already completed offices.

"Moscow-City" and "Tower on the Embankment" in particular developed rapidly. Therefore, these annoying troubles were soon eliminated. And today the infrastructure of the MFC "Tower on the Embankment" is considered one of the most developed.

The construction of Block B was fully financed by Enka. Since it has fairly large assets, it did not need to attract large amounts of credit funds, and the financial crisis had not yet managed to shake the foundation under the feet of the MIBC developers. The company did not disclose the exact amounts of funds invested in the construction, but according to some sources, Block B cost it approximately $50 million.

The management and operation of Block B of the Naberezhnaya Tower is carried out by Enka's subsidiary, City Center Investment B. V. For many years, it has been providing high-quality service to tenants and office owners. Construction Features

The building is constructed in the hi-tech style, which distinguishes it from other Moscow-City complexes. It was erected using modern technologies and high-quality materials. The distinctive feature of block B is the design of the technical floors. Unlike block A, they do not have glazing on the outside, which creates the effect of the building's fragility. In reality, on the contrary, they give it high strength and reliability.

The architects took care of the safety and comfort of office workers and thought through everything to the smallest detail. A high level of illumination is achieved thanks to tinted panoramic windows with good sound insulation and strength indicators. The building is also equipped with:

• modern high-speed elevators.

The microclimate of the premises is controlled by 6-pipe fan coils with digital thermostats installed in the ceilings. The security service is responsible for the safety of the employees. Entry into the building is carried out by reading cards, which is an additional security measure.

Block B has 27 above-ground and 4 underground floors with 3-meter ceilings, and its total height is 127 m. All above-ground floors of the building are completely divided into office premises. Their owners and tenants are companies of various levels, including reputable and well-known ones.

The multifunctional complex "Tower on the Embankment" was considered the tallest building in Europe and Russia until 2009. Since the construction of the multifunctional complex "City of Capitals" was completed that year, it temporarily took over this title, and later ceded it to the complex "Mercury City Tower".
