History of construction

The Capital Tower multifunctional complex is being built by Megapolis Group LLC, which is part of Capital Group, on the site of a former tennis club on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment in the heart of Moscow's business life. The project was developed by the architectural studio of Sergei Skuratov.

Construction work on the site began in 2017 and has been progressing at an active pace since then. This allows us to be virtually certain that all 3 skyscrapers of the Capital Tower residential complex will be commissioned, as planned, in the fourth quarter of 2020.

In 2015, when the project was still in development, the amount of investment required for its implementation was estimated at 15-20 billion dollars. But Capital Group does not disclose the size of the investment, and this developer, as is known, always tries to build buildings with its own funds and attracts loans only in small amounts.

Features of the construction of the residential complex Capital Tower

The multifunctional residential complex in the hi-tech style Capital Tower is being built between Moscow City and the World Trade Center. The skyscrapers are being built using monolithic frame technology and look like strict rectangular towers, completely covered with glass and steel. The highlight of the project was the creation of an original futuristic base.

They have panoramic windows across the entire area of the facades, offering the best view of the Moscow River, Krasnaya Presnya Park and the business district.

The Capital Tower multifunctional complex includes 3 buildings with different appearance characteristics:

• City Tower is a 65-storey building, 270 m high, overlooking the Moscow International Business Center, Luzhniki and the monumental Moscow State University complex;

• River Tower is a 61-story, 212-meter skyscraper towering over the Moscow River, offering a wonderful view of the water surface and most of the historical center of the capital;

• Park Tower is a 61-storey building, 212 metres high, with windows offering a wonderful view of the park and the historical centre of Moscow.

Thus, in the complex everyone will be able to find an option that fully meets their preferences. Each apartment is designed in such a way as to make maximum use of natural light.

White steel and platinum glass are used for the facades. The ceiling height in the Capital Tower buildings is 3 m. They use the best engineering technologies, providing a high level of comfort:

• The unique Rooftop air conditioning system eliminates the need for a personal air conditioner. It purifies and humidifies the air, and also allows both cooling and heating.

• 55 high-speed, silent elevators, controlled by computer algorithms and designed to lift virtually any load (the average lift time from the lobby to the top floor is only 38 seconds).

Today, the Capital Tower complex is almost half ready. All apartments in the Capital Tower multifunctional complex have a view. Since the facility is located behind the Expohall, not a single multifunctional complex "Moscow-City" blocks the view of the river, park and business district.

The complex will have 720 apartments with one, two, three and more rooms, ranging from 47.5 to 290.7 sq. m. There will be no more than 6 apartments on each floor. All of them will be delivered with finished interior decoration in 6 versions, made according to the original design of the Italian designer Antonio Citterio, and a finished built-in kitchen. On the upper floors of the buildings there will be luxurious penthouses with an area of 300 sq. m.
