The iCITY skyscraper complex, under construction in the Moscow City business district by developer MR Group, is nearing completion. The project, which combines two high-rise towers—Space Tower (260 meters) and Time Tower (141 meters)—demonstrates a fresh approach to engineering technologies and premium office real estate standards.
Elevators at cosmic speed: a new benchmark for Moscow City
The installation of 48 modern elevators has been completed at iCITY, 22 of which are double-deck cabins. These elevators travel at speeds of up to 8 meters per second, making them the fastest in Moscow City. By comparison, the elevators in the other business center towers operate at speeds of up to 7 meters per second.
In the Space Tower, double-decker elevators travel between the first and 59th floors, covering the distance in just 32 seconds. Similarly, the elevators in the Time Tower take passengers to the 34th floor in 25 seconds.

Smart technology and premium interior design
iCITY's transportation systems are not only fast but also intelligent. They automatically adapt to passenger flows and select optimal routes. Elevator access is via turnstiles using contactless cards, reducing wait times and increasing safety.
The cabins are finished according to the design concept of renowned architect Helmut Jahn. The interior features natural arabescato marble on the floor and stemalite on the walls, emphasizing the prestige and modernity of the space.

Stylobate and panoramic elevators: visual integration with architecture
The lower levels of the complex—the eight-story stylobate—are equipped with a separate vertical transportation system. Seven elevators operate here, including four with transparent walls that create a sense of openness and allow passengers to observe the activity in the atrium located in the central part of the building.

Glass dome: an architectural dominant and natural lighting
The glass dome, recently installed on the stylobate, has become a striking architectural accent of the project. The structure unites both towers and creates a spacious atrium with natural light. This is more than just a design element—it enhances the visual perception of the space and makes the interior more comfortable.

Interior space: comfort and functionality at every level
The atrium will include restaurants, coffee shops, shops, a minimarket, beauty salons, a fitness center with a panoramic pool, and a winter garden. All this makes iCITY more than just an office complex, but a fully-fledged environment for work, leisure, and business networking.
Area and implementation: the scale is impressive
The project's total area is 232,000 square meters, of which 136,000 are allocated for office space. Construction of the complex began in 2020, and over 80% of the office lots have been sold to date. Time Tower is already operational.
The Future is Here: The Flagship of a New Generation of Office Real Estate
iCITY is more than just an architectural project. It exemplifies how modern engineering solutions and a sustainable approach to construction are shaping a new quality of life and work in the metropolis. Innovative elevators, aesthetically pleasing interiors, smart technologies, and comprehensive infrastructure make this complex one of the most advanced in Moscow City.
