The company developing the multifunctional concert hall in Moscow City has a new director.
According to SPARK-Interfax, Fan Generation, a company owned by billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov and the developer of the Moscow City concert hall , has undergone management changes. Artemy Krylov has been appointed the new general director, replacing Vladimir Kedrinsky, who led the construction from the very beginning.
Artemy Krylov previously served as CEO of OPIN, also owned by Mikhail Prokhorov. The management change is likely intended to revive the long-stalled project, as Krylov has significant experience in development. He and a partner are currently developing their own development company, Artclass Development.
Construction of the multifunctional concert hall began over 12 years ago. The complex, with a total area of 45,000 square meters, is designed to accommodate 8,000 spectators. The venue was originally scheduled to open in 2016, but the deadline was repeatedly postponed. Recent reports indicated a possible opening in the fourth quarter of 2023, but no significant construction work is currently underway on the building.
The change in leadership raises hopes for the resumption and successful completion of the project under the leadership of Artemy Krylov.
