Alexandra Vantier, Managing Director of the popular coffee shop chain Doubleby, announced that the company plans to open locations in the offices of large enterprises. The first location was opened at the Rosbank headquarters, located in one of the towers of the Oko multifunctional complex , located within the Moscow International Business Center.
This coffee shop is currently operating in maintenance mode, and its floor space is only 6 square meters, although the chain's traditional retail outlets occupy at least 40 square meters. Opened in Rosbank, the DoubleBee coffee shop serves exclusively bank customers and employees, and the beverage selection is identical to that of other locations. A professional barista prepares the drinks. The menu includes desserts, several types of pastries, and various jarred snacks. The average bill is 600 rubles.
As a reminder, Rosbank has leased 15,500 square meters in the OKO skyscraper for 10 years, providing modern, comfortable workspaces for over a thousand employees. The DoubleBee coffee shop will be located on the bank's headquarters premises as a sublease, but the exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
A. Vantier noted that negotiations are underway with several companies to open DoubleB's in offices. It is expected that about 10 such establishments will be open by early 2021.
The Doubleby coffee shop chain was founded back in 2012, and today it comprises 73 locations operating not only in Moscow but also in other regions and abroad. Of these, 8 are wholly owned, and 65 are franchised. Doubleby is owned by Gleb Smirnov and Sergey Dashkov, who also own Ahmad Tea.
