The Moscow Urban Forum 2021 recently took place, where the world's largest companies and architectural firms presented innovative projects for the development of entire residential neighborhoods or individual clusters. One of the participants was Zaha Hadid Architects, whose concept attracted the attention of the Russian concern KROST. This investment and construction holding company implements large-scale projects for the development of entire neighborhoods and even districts.

KROST is currently actively developing a project in the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district of the Northwestern Administrative District. This project covers over 500 hectares of residential development. Construction is planned to begin there, based on a British design, within the Union Park neighborhood.

Zaha Hadid Architects' Skyscraper Cluster Project
The cluster is expected to consist of five skyscrapers on a stylobate with a total residential area of 184,000 square meters and almost 90,000 square meters of infrastructure.

Key Features:
- The maximum height of the towers will be 200 meters - each of them on its own level;
- Design – a combination of bionics and parametric architecture;
- Emphasis on innovative engineering and technical equipment;
- The concept of a microworld – residential space in high-rise towers, commercial areas in the stylobate, and auxiliary infrastructure for leisure;
- Green zone – multi-level park, walking alleys, cascading gardens;
- The estimated completion date of the project is 2028.
This is a unique architectural and engineering project. The stylobate is an organic foundation that simultaneously forms part of the city's urban space, a unique transition from the ordinary open streets to the unique zone of the innovative complex. Essentially, it is a small city of the future, where technology and nature coexist.

The multi-level stylobate inside will house numerous office complexes, fitness centers, cafes and restaurants, banks, retail spaces, clinics, and other social facilities. It will also house educational institutions, sports facilities, and entertainment complexes.

The towers will house residential units—apartments of varying layouts and sizes. The focus will be on safety, comfort, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Supply and waste management systems have been carefully designed, and virtually all processes are automated, including climate control, adaptive lighting, heating, and air conditioning.

The developers have devoted no less attention to landscaping – approximately 2.5 kilometers of walking paths, jogging trails, and bicycle paths, as well as a ribbon park with cascading gardens. All of this will be located on over 2.5 hectares of a multi-level stylobate. Its roof will also feature a plaza for various events. Essentially, the project envisions the construction of a small, autonomous city of the future.

Representatives of the KROST concern intend to invest 20 billion rubles in technologies that accelerate construction and improve the quality of results. This project is just the beginning, as the trend of promoting innovative ideas is becoming increasingly popular among major architectural firms and developers. These ideas can be seen everywhere, including in the Moscow City business center.
