Cards Virtual: Virtual Card Terms and Limits
Virtual Cards
Cards Virtual offers virtual cards from foreign banks that can be loaded with rubles via the Single Payment System (SPS). The service is designed for online subscriptions, foreign online stores, business services, and—on certain plans—payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The pricing plans published in October 2026 offer three options:
- Basic SGP – issuance fee: 990 ₽;
- Universal SGP – issuance fee: 2,990 ₽;
- Ultima+ SGP – 6,900 ₽.
The cards are issued in Singapore and differ in their features. The Basic SGP is intended for occasional online payments; Apple Pay and Google Pay are not supported with this plan. The Basic plan is not suitable for direct payments to ChatGPT and Claude. Purchase fee: $0.80; validity period: 2 years; limit: up to $3,000.
The Universal SGP is designed for regular international payments and travel. It supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, is valid for 3 years, has a limit of up to $20,000, and charges a purchase fee of $0.50. The cards are compatible with a number of international platforms; however, acceptance depends on the specific merchant’s policies and the region of the account.
The Ultima+ SGP is designed for higher transaction volumes. It features a limit of up to $250,000, priority support, and no fixed transaction fee. The issuance fee is higher, so this plan should only be chosen for truly large-scale or regular use.
Deposits are made in rubles via the SBP or from a Russian bank card, after which the funds are converted to dollars. The exchange rate and the final amount should be checked before depositing, since a zero or low purchase fee does not mean that the conversion is done at the Central Bank’s exchange rate.
Key differences between plans:
- Basic — lowest price, online payments, no mobile wallets;
- Universal — Apple Pay and Google Pay, higher limits, lower purchase fees;
- Ultima+—higher limits and priority support.
The platform supports online application without visiting a foreign bank. Specific transactions may be subject to the card issuer’s requirements. Before issuance, you should verify the current BIN, country of issuance, limits, and support for the desired service.
The cards cannot be considered universally compatible with all international platforms. For example, even within a single product line, the list of supported services varies. For the Basic card, restrictions on certain AI services are specifically noted, whereas the Universal and Ultima+ cards offer a broader range of services.

Editor’s Opinion
Cards Virtual is convenient because the differences between the plans are immediately clear: the affordable Basic plan for online payments, the Universal plan with mobile wallets, and the premium Ultima+ plan for high transaction volumes. This allows you to choose a card without unnecessary features. However, you shouldn’t evaluate a plan based solely on the purchase fee—the top-up exchange rate and transaction frequency also play a significant role. The Universal plan supports mobile wallets and offers a higher limit, but the extra cost for issuing the card is only justified with regular purchases. The Basic plan is a better choice for infrequent purchases, but you should check its restrictions on specific services before getting the card. Ultima+ only makes sense for large amounts and regular usage. With a small number of payments, the fixed purchase fee is more important than the high cost of the premium card. You should not choose Basic for neural networks: ChatGPT and Claude are not included in its list of supported services.
