Wallester

Wallester is a European payment company and a Visa Principal Member, licensed by the Estonian financial regulator. Wallester Business combines a business account, multi-currency IBANs, virtual and physical Visa cards, and corporate expense management.

This is not a consumer service for purchasing a single international card. The primary target audience consists of companies, sole proprietors, and freelancers from supported regions.

As of November 2026, the Free plan includes:

  • 0 EUR per month;
  • up to 300 virtual cards;
  • an unlimited number of users;
  • issuance of physical cards as part of the product;
  • API;
  • integration with accounting systems;
  • limit and spending controls;
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay;
  • multi-currency accounts.

Paid plans increase the limit:

  • Premium — 199 EUR per month and up to 3,000 virtual cards;
  • Platinum — 999 EUR per month and up to 18,000 virtual cards;
  • Enterprise Suite – custom terms.

Additional virtual cards beyond the included limit are charged separately. In the Free plan, an additional card costs 0.35 EUR per month; in the Premium plan, 0.20 EUR; and in the Platinum plan, 0.10 EUR.

Deposits via bank transfer in euros incur no fee from Wallester. For transfers in other currencies, the pricing table specifies a 15 EUR processing fee. Deposits made via debit or credit card in EUR incur a 1.20% fee; this method becomes available after the first bank transfer to the corporate account. For some clients, USDC deposits are also available upon agreement with the service team.

Cards are issued instantly and allow you to set individual spending limits. The company can issue a card for an employee, a marketing department, a business trip, a supplier, or a specific type of expense. This simplifies budget control and accounting.

Wallester supports multiple account currencies, including EUR, USD, GBP, SEK, NOK, CZK, HUF, RON, PLN, and DKK. Card payments can also be processed in other currencies with currency conversion.

Virtual Visa cards can be linked to Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported mobile wallets. 3D Secure is used for online payments.

The main limitation is geographic coverage. Wallester Business works with companies from the UK, the EEA, the UAE, Singapore, the US, and Canada. Businesses from other countries require separate approval. Russian companies are not among the standard supported regions, so Wallester should not be viewed as a mass-market product for Russian legal entities.

For freelancers, availability also depends on geographic location and verification. A separate offering for the self-employed and independent professionals is primarily focused on the EEA.

Wallester is particularly appealing to those who need dozens or hundreds of cards. For a single subscription, the benefit of 300 free cards isn’t particularly significant, but for an agency or a distributed team, it’s a great deal.

For payments in a currency other than the card’s currency, the Visa exchange rate applies, plus a 2% Wallester surcharge. Separate fees apply to cash transactions: at ATMs within the EEA—2%, with a minimum of 2 EUR; outside the EEA—2 EUR plus 2%. Virtual cards are primarily used for non-cash corporate expenses, and the ability to withdraw cash depends on the payment method and device. Therefore, the free plan with 300 cards does not mean there are no fees for card reloads, foreign currency transactions, or additional cards.

Editor’s Opinion

Wallester Business offers a competitive corporate model with a free starter plan and premium paid packages. The free package, which includes 300 virtual cards, is suitable for agencies, e-commerce businesses, and teams with high spending volumes. Pros: a licensed European company, Visa Principal Member, IBAN, multi-currency support, mobile wallets, and transparent pricing. However, it’s important for the Russian audience not to view Wallester as simply a way to get a foreign card: its standard customer coverage is limited to the UK, EEA, UAE, Singapore, the USA, and Canada. If a business meets the requirements for its country of registration, Wallester is significantly more transparent than most intermediaries.
