The urban design for one of the largest residential projects in the capital's new business district has been officially approved. Moscow authorities have approved the architectural and urban design for the multifunctional complex "Strana.City," planned for construction on 2nd Krasnogvardeysky Proezd within City-2, the planned extension of Moscow-City.

The project, developed by developer Strana Development and designed by the architectural firm APEX, consists of two bionic towers, 82 and 96 stories high. The towers are connected by a shared stylobate and a covered walkway, creating a unified architectural composition.

The façade solutions emphasize the organic, "living" form of the buildings: the main surfaces will be made of modular aluminum cassettes, the stylobate will be clad in natural stone, and the wave-like elements will be accented with aluminum profiles. This approach enhances the complex's visual identity and fits it into the contemporary architectural agenda of high-rise construction.

The project includes 1,774 apartments, as well as developed public and business infrastructure, including office space, shopping arcades, restaurants, a spa area, and services for residents. The complex will have a total floor area of 316,233 square meters, and its maximum height will exceed 394 meters, making Strana.City one of the tallest residential projects in Moscow.

The developer acquired the land plot for construction following a competitive bidding process with financial support from Alfa-Bank. The total financing limit for the transaction and the project is estimated at 21.5 billion rubles. In addition, the parties entered into a separate agreement on project financing for subsequent stages of implementation.

The site has already been cleared, and the developer has begun preparatory work. The inclusion of Strana.City in the City-2 development confirms the city's strategic commitment to developing a new high-rise cluster, which will ultimately become a logical architectural and functional extension of Moscow City.
