Construction of Building A continues at Light City, 3, 2nd Magistralnaya Street. Developer JSC Prospekt has published an October 2026 photo gallery showing the above-ground reinforced-concrete frame, construction hoists and work on floor slabs. The first phase is scheduled for completion in Q1 2028.
The next phase also has planning documentation in place. Moscow's construction supervision authority announced approval for two buildings in the second phase on 3 October 2025.
Progress on site
The latest written construction update found on the developer's website is dated 17 September 2026. At that time, crews were pouring structural elements on the 13th floor and planned to finish concrete work on the 14th floor by the end of September. Internal blockwork, waterproofing of the podium, construction of a heating chamber and external heating infrastructure were also under way.
The October construction gallery contains 21 photographs showing work on the building's above-ground structure. No confirmation that the entire concrete frame had been completed was found when this article was prepared.
The portal reported the start of construction on Light City's first phase in January 2025. The permit for Building A, published among the project's documents, was issued earlier, on 11 September 2024. It specifies 39,052 sq m of total floor area, two underground levels and 169 parking spaces.
What phase two includes
The second phase comprises two 18-storey buildings and two single-storey pavilions, linked by a two-level underground car park with 370 spaces. Total floor area will approach 81,000 sq m, including 49,500 sq m of offices.
Plans include meeting rooms, remote-working areas, a canteen and server rooms. A retail gallery with cafés and shops will occupy the lower levels. The permit authorises construction but does not establish how far work on these buildings has progressed.
Four buildings beyond Moscow City's core
Light City will join the office developments of Greater City. According to the developer's current website, the quarter will comprise four buildings with approximately 174,000 sq m of total floor area, including 115,800 sq m of offices and 4,500 sq m of retail space.
The nearest announced completion date applies specifically to phase one. Layouts and specifications are available in the Light City Building A profile.
