Starting October 1, 2026, “Lastochka” trains bound for Minsk and Smolensk will begin stopping at the “Moscow City” station. Russian Railways has added the stop to the routes of seven pairs of trains and announced that tickets for boarding and disembarking at City are already on sale.
For those who work in the business district, this change is quite practical: after a meeting or a workday, you can catch a train right here without having to go back to Belorussky Station. Passengers from Minsk and Smolensk heading to the towers will also find it more convenient to get off right in the district.
Three pairs of trains will connect Moscow City with Minsk, and another four with Smolensk. The station adds intercity and international service to transfers to the MCD-1, MCD-4, MCC, and the metro.
