Despite reduced demand, car dealers continue to operate in Russia. Parallel imports allow both essential items and luxury cars to enter the country. Specifically, a Lamborghini dealership has opened in the City district.
The initiator of its opening was Avtodom, the official dealer of the European brand. Lamborghini stopped deliveries to Russia in the spring, but a solution was found. This dealership offers practically "new" cars with minimal mileage. These products are purchased separately from the dealership.
A. Olkhovsky, CEO of Avtodom, comments: "Today, we offer domestic customers the full range of Lamborghini models. Our selection has expanded significantly. Please note that ordering a car with custom options is not yet possible. Customers can only choose from pre-defined options."
Experts emphasize that, prior to this event, car dealerships selling only cars imported through parallel imports had never opened in Russia. However, the head of Avtodom considers this approach to be the most effective in segments such as luxury and premium. This is due to the increased margins of the transactions.
