The opening is scheduled for August 21, 2026. A temporary art pavilion called “Pyramid” will open in Moscow City—one of the twelve venues of the “Made in Moscow” urban project. The structure is assembled from polished stainless steel panels. During the day, its facets reflect the neighboring towers; in the evening, the structure is illuminated from within.
What’s Inside
The retail space has been allocated to Moscow-based brands. The interior is decorated in shades of gold, and a grand piano is placed beneath the arches. Add to this an immersive photo zone and interactive screens—which will display a fictional world created for the TV series.
What’s the pyramid doing here?
The plot explains the shape. The pavilion is timed to coincide with the premiere of “The Secret City”—a screen adaptation of Vadim Panov’s series, which TNT will air this fall. The action takes place in an alternate Moscow, where magical clans have been fighting for power for centuries. According to the script, one of the secret house’s sources of power is located in the business district. The “Pyramid” represents this source.
The location was chosen strategically: the Central Core and Afimall attract the cluster’s main pedestrian traffic.
Scale of the Program
The project is led by the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. This summer, 12 pavilions were set up: Bolotnaya Square, Old and New Arbat, Tverskoy Boulevard, Trubnaya, Tsvetnoy, and Gogolevsky Boulevards, Khodynskoye Field, Kuznetsky Most, Rozhdestvenka, and Moscow City. More than 700 brands are participating, with over 70,000 items on display. During the first month of the season, the venues welcomed nearly 200,000 visitors—and more than 45,000 purchases were made. Entrepreneurs are provided with space free of charge.
